Büyülübağ Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is produced with selectively harvested best Carbernet Sauvignon of most reputable Çeşme region vineyards. Following the fermentation, the wine has been aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels. It is dark ruby color with a strong body and rich texture. It is long lasting, has cherry and red fruit aromas together with spice and cedar on the nose. This wine has a good potential for aging and can be aged between 6-8 years.
Büyülübağ Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has won the following awards:
- Silver Medal in Vinalies International for 2007 vintage
- Silver Medal in Vinalies International for 2005 vintage
Jancis Robinson gave 16.5 points out of 20 for 2005 vintage of this wine with the following comments:
"Clean, fruity, very pure nose with real smoothness. Claret! Very familiar to me. Well balanced and sophisticated. Super refreshing. Not quintessentially Turkish perhaps but Bordeaux-like, and very well crafted."
