Anatolia, known as Asia Minor to the Roman Empire, has been the host of 13 civilizations spanning more than 10,000 years. Unsurprisingly, it is one of the first wine growing regions in the world. The traces of wine in Anatolia go back to the Early Bronze Age. With a history of more than 5,000 years and with more than 500 local grape varieties, wines of Anatolia are becoming prominent once again.
Ida Wines is a specialized distributor of Anatolian wines based in Brussels.
